Cow grazing in front of the Peak District upcycled mug

Do you need a bowl of fresh in nature? Let’s go for a hike. It’s a fabulous day, the sun is warming your entire body. You can hear the birds chirping, the insect buzzing, and far away the cows mooing. You forgot about your problems.

That’s how I felt when I painted this cow. I upcycled this mug using the ceramic decals of my watercolour paintings. I placed the cow in the front of the mug and the Peak District landscape inside the mug to give a feeling of depth. Plus, when you pour your favourite drink in the mug, it will bring to life the reservoir painted at the bottom of the hills.

I fired the mug in a kiln, so the paintings are now bonded with the glaze of the original mug and are permanent. The mug is safe to use with food and drinks. It is also dishwasher and microwave safe.

This mug is entirely unique, this is the only ceramic I upcycled with this cow.
