These are our terms and conditions for the use of our website thejollyupcycler.com and the purchase of products through the website.

The terms and conditions herein together with any notices or conditions on other areas of this website will all together govern use by customers of this website. You should note that The Jolly Upcycler may at any time make changes to or remove part of this website without any liability to customers for such changes. The Jolly Upcycler reserves the right to change these terms and conditions in the future without specifically notifying customers and continued use of the website or placing of orders after such changes shall be deemed to be acknowledgement and acceptance thereof.
A contract will only come into existence between you the customer and us once your order has been processed and dispatched.
When you as a customer place an order via this website, you warrant by placing the order that:
- You are not a minor or otherwise legally incapable of entering into a binding contract.
- The personal details which you give us on registration are fully complete and accurate.
- You are not using a false name or the name of any other person or body which you are not authorised to use.
Product description and prices
All prices published are in pounds sterling. Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description, but please do remember that handmade craft is not mass-produced and therefore slight variables in design and colour are always possible.
Placement of an order
When you place your order you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions and it is important that you have read them before you go ahead and order.
Cancelling an order
As a customer, you are free to cancel an order within 14 days if the order hasn't been shipped and will be refunded amount of your order to their account the order originally was paid from, which excludes the initial postage charge (for international shipping).
Cancelling a workshop reservation
Tickets to our workshops are NOT exchangeable. To get a refund, you must cancel your ticket 5 days before the event. £1 per ticket will be charged to cover the bank processing fees. If you cancel less than 5 days before the event, you will no longer be eligible for a refund. We will need your full name, bank account number and sort code so we can process the refund.
However, if we need to cancel the event due to unforeseen reasons, tickets will be entirely refunded to the buyers with no charge for bank processing fees.
Gift cards
To reserve a spot to one of our workshops with a voucher, you have to email us directly at hello@thejollyupcycler.com. If you need to change the date of the workshop you want to attend, you must cancel your ticket 5 days before the event. If you cancel less than 5 days before the event, you will no longer be able use your gift card.
In case the workshop you selected is already sold out, you will have to select another one.
Acceptance of an order
When an order is placed you will get an order confirmation sent to the email address you provided during checkout, containing information about order content, prices.
Payment
When you place an order we’ll need your name, address, e-mail address, credit / debit card number and card expiry date. For your security, we don’t store your credit / debit card.
The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered with UK delivery included, unless clearly marked otherwise. However, if you ship outside of the UK, shipping fees will be added at checkout.
Delivery
We will dispatch your item(s) within 5 working days of receiving the order. The Jolly Upcycler assumes no responsibility for damages during transport or damages caused from any delays beyond its control.
PLEASE, BE AWARE THAT FOR ORDERS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE UK, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS FEES UPON THE ARRIVAL OF THE PACKAGE.
We do NOT take responsibility for the cost of the custom fees.
Returns Policy
The Jolly Upcycler accepts returns within 14 days if products are not used, changed, washed or otherwise manipulated. Products need to be returned in original packaging.
No products may be returned to The Jolly Upcycler without the prior written consent of The Jolly Upcycler and are subject to a return charge.
Please get in touch with us with your contact and your order details and let us know why you are returning the item(s) so that we can put things right for you. You’ll then be sent a return address and details of how to proceed.
Please be aware that it may take 5 - 10 days for the refund to be on your bank account.
Becoming a member
By becoming a member, you agree to sign a membership contract and pay the membership fee every month for a minimum of 6 months.
Liability
We try to have the information on this website as accurate as possible but we make no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding its accuracy. We also do not make any warranties regarding any matters relating to the use of this website and it is a matter for you to ensure that your own equipment is protected from viruses or other external factors.
Your rights are protected by the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980, and also the Consumer Protection Act, 2007, where you are a consumer. Nothing in this website shall affect your rights under the applicable law.
Severance
If any of these terms and conditions shall prove to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from the remaining terms and conditions which shall remain valid and enforceable.
If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
