Coral reef upcycled ceramics

I upcycled these pieces using the ceramic decals of the watercolour paintings I made of a colourful coral reef with a turtle swimming above it. I placed fish around the plate so it feels like they are swimming above the coral reef as well.

I fired the pieces in a kiln, so the paintings are now bonded with the glaze of the original dessert plate and are permanent. They are safe to use with food and drinks. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe.
