Humpback whales upcycled tea set

I am taking you with me on my first research cruise in the Atlantic Ocean. Picture this: you are on the boat helping other scientists with their samples. Every time you have a break, you go outside and look at the waves hoping that something, anything would appear. It’s cold but you go out anyways. In the water, you see something kind of bright just beside the boat. You are wondering what it could be. It is getting brighter and brighter and suddenly a blow. It’s an humpback whale! You can’t believe it! You are trying to tell your boss about it but you are speechless.

I upcycled these pieces using ceramic decals of my watercolour paintings. Because I fired them in a kiln, the paintings are now permanent and they are safe to use with food and drinks. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe.
