Orca and baby upcycled cups

I upcycled these pieces using ceramic decals of the watercolour paintings I made of an orca and her baby and a group of orca’s dorsal fins. I designed it to make the impression that the orca and her baby on the foreground are swimming under the group of dorsal fins inside the mug. Plus, when you pour your favourite drink in the mug, you will feel like the orcas are swimming at the surface of it.

Because I fired them in a kiln, the paintings are permanent and the cups are safe to use with food and drinks. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe.
