These upcycled mugs were inspired by a book I read: “An elephant in my kitchen” by Françoise Malby-Anthony. The author tells her story of running a reserve in South Africa. I have to say I cried multiple times reading it. Her stories about elephants were my favourites.

I upcycled this grey mug using parts of a watercolour painting I made of a group of elephants. And what I described above is how I felt when I painted them.

Using ceramic decals to transfer my painting, I designed it the way that when you drink your tea or coffee or whatever drink you have the feeling that the elephant and her baby inside the mug are walking behind the elephant on the foreground.

These mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. However, the designs will stay longer if you wash it by hand.

Shipment to England, Scotland and Wales included.
