Upcycled flower dish

Do you need some relaxation time? Grab these little upcycled flower dishes featuring sleeping animals: a cat and a badger. How would it help with your anxiety? Studies have shown that watching an animal sleeping lowers our anxiety and worries. So look closely to this cat/badger/fawn sleeping on green branches and leaves. What do you think they are dreaming of? Maybe jumping around carelessly, full of joy.

I upcycled these little dishes using ceramic decals of the watercolour paintings I made of a cat, a badger, a fawn and branches of trees. I carefully placed the branches around the dishes.

I fired these three pieces which made the paintings permanent. The dishes are safe to use with drinks and food. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe.
