Meadow upcycled sugar pot

It is spring time, it is sunny outside with a beautiful blue sky. You are walking in a park, enjoying the sounds of the birds singing and the insects buzzing. You can smell the flowers in the meadow. You feel relaxed and grounded. You forgot about all your problems.

This is what it made me feel when I watercolour painted this meadow with daisies, monarch butterflies and bees. I added some blue sky on top of the pot for a spring feel. I also added butterflies inside and it looks like someone is sleeping inside the pot: a little fawn.

I upcycled the sugar pot using the ceramic decals of my paintings. I fired the pot in a kiln so the paintings are permanent. The pot is safe to use with food and drinks.

This sugar pot is unique and part of a tea set featuring the meadow.
