Squirrel friends upcycled green mug

Have you seen pictures of a squirrel humming a flower? Now imagine that the flower she is humming is held by her squirrel friend who she plays around with all the time. She is even sharing some acorns with her. She is her best friend and she wouldn’t imagine her life without her. She feels safe with her and can tell her all her secrets. Around her, she can be entirely herself. Watching them together every day will remind you that you can be entirely yourself too.

I upcycled this green mug using ceramic decals of the paintings I made of the two squirrels. I added the branches of trees with leaves I painted all around the cups to create the feel of a forest.

I fired the mug so the paintings are permanent. The mug is safe to use with drinks. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe.

This mug is unique and part of a small collection featuring these two squirrels.
