Hedgehog upcycled tea set

It is spring time, it is sunny outside with a beautiful blue sky. You are walking in a park, enjoying the sounds of the birds singing and the insects buzzing. Suddenly, you see something moving on the grass. Is it a squirrel? No, it is a hedgehog. It looks like she is talking with a butterfly. You stay still, observing them.

This is what it made me feel when I watercolour painted this hedgehog with a monarch butterfly. I upcycled both pieces using the ceramic decals of my paintings. I added more monarch butterflies and some bees I painted separately for a spring feeling.

I fired the pieces in a kiln so the paintings are permanent. The teapot is safe to use with drinks. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe.
